
Three weeks across Southeast Asia — karst valleys and quiet water, then the noise and neon of the streets.
Some places you photograph. Others you just try to keep up with. This trip was both.
We started in Vietnam, out among the limestone karsts and slow rivers where the only sound is the paddle. Then the pace flipped — a wall of motorbikes at every intersection, markets that don't stop, food cooked a metre from where you eat it. By the time we crossed into Thailand, we'd stopped trying to capture everything and started looking for the one frame that says the most.
That's the whole job, really. Whether it's a night market in a foreign city or a small business back home, the work is the same: pay attention, wait for the moment, and tell it honestly. What follows is that trip, more or less in the order it happened.
